Dedicated To Celebrating Irish Culture Year Round in Central Ohio
The Dublin Irish Celebration is a nonprofit organization which works to foster and support Irish Culture throughout the year in Central Ohio. We believe Irish Culture and Music should be heard and enjoyed more than twice a year.
Kay McGovern, the President of the Dublin Irish Celebration, was one of the original founders of the Dublin Irish Festival. She and a small group of Irish-minded folks created a nonprofit organization that sponsored the Columbus Feis and the first Dublin Irish Festival in 1988. Due to its immense popularity and growing size, the City of Dublin took over the management of the festival; it is now the largest three-day Irish festival in the world. Kay and several other original founders continued to volunteer with the Festival and contribute to cultural planning.
